La Roche-Posay International : Instagram Creative & Motion Lead

CHALLENGE:
Establish and maintain a cohesive, engaging Instagram presence for a global skincare brand while producing high-volume content that balances brand consistency with trend-responsiveness and seasonal relevance.

ROLE:
Art Direction & Motion Design Lead
(3-year evolution: Assistant AD β†’ Junior AD β†’ Lead AD/Motion)

PROCESS & SOLUTION:
Content Strategy: Managed end-to-end creative direction for Instagram account (in collaboration with copywriter, under Creative Director supervision), covering daily posts, Stories, Reels, and event coverage. Progressively took full ownership of motion design output.

"Content Factory" Innovation: Conceptualized and executed annual large-scale shooting productions to build extensive asset libraries ensuring brand visual consistency. Responsible for:

  • Creative mood development & art direction

  • Pre-production coordination with production team

  • On-set supervision (product still-life, model photography, video)

  • Post-production oversight of all deliverables

Event Coverage: Expanded responsibilities to include conception-to-delivery event content (filming, photography, animation).

Team Management: Led and mentored 2 junior team members (Assistant AD + Assistant Motion Designer).

RESULTS:
Delivered consistent, on-brand content aligned with trends and product launches, supporting significant Instagram growth and engagement for the international account.
